In the early spring of 2010 I spent some time creating puppets for the TV series Robot Chicken at Shadow Machine in L.A. This was the most fun I had ever experienced at a stop motion studio. All day long in the Puppet Department we would cut off doll arms and saw off the heads of other poor unfortunate toys for body parts. I had worked on puppets for some of the Smurfs as well as Star Wars episodes.
The crew at shadow are some of the most creative and big hearted individuals. They were always so generous and excited to share the latest puppet making technique for any type of puppet design.
BTW this is one of my favorite characters from the show..
